Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the website nationallawhelpline.com (the "Website"). By accessing the Website, submitting the request form, or contacting us through the channels listed on the Website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accept these Terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the Website.

1. Purpose of the Website

The Website is owned and operated by the National Law Helpline law practice (Vienna, Austria). The content of the Website is general and informational in nature and is intended to introduce the attorney's practice, areas of work, and how to request a consultation.

2. Not Legal Advice

The information on the Website — including articles, practice-area descriptions, cases, answers to questions, and any other materials — is not legal advice on a specific matter. Every situation is unique; decisions on a case can be made only after a detailed review of the facts and the applicable law.

3. No Attorney-Client Relationship

Viewing the Website, submitting the consultation form, or corresponding by email, through messaging apps, or via the chat on the Website does not, in itself, create an attorney-client relationship. Such a relationship arises only upon signing a written engagement agreement for legal services (engagement letter) and resolving any conflict-of-interest questions.

Until the agreement is signed, information you send us is not fully protected by attorney-client privilege. Do not send, through the Website, documents that constitute privileged or trade-secret information without prior arrangement.

4. Attorney Advertising

The Website constitutes attorney advertising within the meaning of the EU bar's professional-conduct rules and other applicable regulations. National Law Helpline is responsible for the content of the advertising materials on the Website.

5. Use of Website Materials

The text, photographs, graphics, logos, videos, and other materials on the Website are the intellectual property of National Law Helpline or are used on a lawful basis. Their copying, distribution, adaptation, or commercial use without written consent is prohibited. Short excerpts may be quoted provided the source is credited and an active link to the Website is included.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Website is provided "as is." We make reasonable efforts to keep the information current, but we do not warrant its completeness, accuracy, or timeliness. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Website.

7. Third-Party Links

The Website may contain links to third-party resources (Google Maps, analytics services, professional associations). We do not control these resources and are not responsible for their content or for how they process your data. Following such links is done at your own risk.

8. Prohibited Conduct

When using the Website, you may not:

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria (EU), without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes relating to the use of the Website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Vienna, Austria, unless otherwise expressly required by mandatory law.

10. Changes to the Terms
